This model kit is known as a transkit as it uses some parts from a different model. Because you need 2 model kits to build one kit, it can be expensive. In the case of this one, I had to get a model of a Suzuki RGV 500 from 1999 and use only the wheels, parts of the exhaust pipes and a couple of decals. This type of model is very complex and I wouldn't recommend making it unless you are very experienced or have some help or you will be disappointed with the end result.
'Normal' model glue is no good for this kit as most of the parts are metal, so I used a 2-part epoxy glue which needs alot of care when using. Also, the instructions are just 1 illustrated sheet, not the usual 15-20 page manual you get with plastic bike kits. It is very important therefore to study the instructions thoroughly before starting the kit and a number of the parts needed filing & sanding to ensure a good fit. The decals were the usual water activated type and went on fine.
However, this is a brilliant kit and if you have the necessary experience then I would recommend it, I give this 10/10
