Model kit guide,model hints & tips bikes cars

This was a 1/12th model made by Tamiya. This model was fairly difficult to do so I would class this as 'intermediate to expert' skill level. There were a number of small parts, tiny screws and brake pipes, throttle cables etc to assemble so it was very important to study the instructions before starting. There was also quite a lot of paint to buy to do this kit properly, this kit didn't come with any paint, glue etc.

Assembly took a lot of time as most parts needed painting before assembly, it was crucial to follow the instructions carefully.

Decals were the usual water based type and were straightforward to apply, some care was needed for the seat unit decals to line up with the fairing decals, other than that I had no problems.

Model bikes are my favourite ones to build and this was a great kit. Tamiya always do brilliant models and this was no exception.
